Old Hopewell Elementary School on Hopewell Road in Milton, Georgia (previously Alpharetta). The original school, the building seen without a flat roof, opened in 1935 with additions later completed. Outside there was a field for activities, a playground, and a basketball court, and the two adjacent Bell Memorial Park baseball fields were a short walk. The school closed in 1984 as the population grew too large for it. Served grades K-7. It was never maintained and demolished in 2007. The city of Milton expanded Bell Memorial Park and a new large baseball field was formed where the school once was.
