Harry and Peg Smith's farm. The barn in the bottom center of the picture burned down, but the rest is pretty much intact. Owned by Billy Woods now I believe.

Harry & Peg Smith were my parents. They bought this 80 acre farm in 1948 and built the house, which
still stands, that same year. The only structures were the big barn, the small shed to the left of it, and
a chicken house that is visible right over the top of the small shed (with a window showing in it). Everything else was built over the next 30 years. I was 8 years old when we moved there , and
lived there until I left home for the military in 1958. Dad later bought an additional 50 acres joining
the original 80 on the north.
