This farm belonged to my grandparents until they sold it in 1968. They farrowed a few sows, had feeder cattle, feeder pigs, laying hens, and crops. The house and large barn were there when they bought the property (it had been a vegetable farm), but Grandpa built the rest of the buildings. The fencing around the farm, built by Grandpa and Dad, still stands straight and strong even after all of these years.
