This is the Jim Schartz farm 3 miles south of Humboldt, SD on SD Highway 19 and 1.5 miles west. Jim and his wife Katherine farmed here until his son Frank Schartz and his wife Ann (Even) took over the operation in the 1990s. Frank operates a vehicle repair shop, paint and body and classic car restoration business along with a commercial sheep operation at this farm.
