City of Garland, far southern edge of the city near the border with Mesquite at the intersection of Beltline and 30. Lots has changed here. Upper left corner used to be a horse ranch and stable, it was sold and developed into a Walmart in the mid 1990's. The Tom Thumb closed long ago and is now a second hand shop. McDonalds moved to the other side of Beltline, and the McDonalds is now a taco place.
