This 26 acre property in White Rock community near Greenville TX belonged to my great grandparents Ammie and Irvin Carter. My great grandmothers family settled the area in the mid 1800's and many distant family members still live there today. My parents placed a home near the back of the property where I spent the first 6 years of my life growing up. Many special memories but mostly of my grandmother standing on the corner of her porch greeting us as we got off the school bus everyday, skipping rocks in the pond, tire swinging,picking from the plum trees, and "helping" in the garden.
