This isn't the right intersection for this photo, but I can't place where this store was. Hamilton Pool Road (the road where this was supposedly located) was and still is just two lanes. The road in this pic is four lanes. When you zoom in, you can see that it was called "Jim and Mary's Drive In," and some poking around in a newspaper archive tells me that drive-in was somewhere on Highway 71.
