I grew up upstairs in that building. Pumped gas in the station from about age 10. We moved away in 1968. My family, the Sewards first moved there in 1860. The gas station was originally opened by my great grandfather Ellis Newton Seward around 1920 or so. His son William King Seward bought him out around 1940.
My grandfather Scott Montague also ran the gas station , also lived upstairs
