Sometime between 1968 and 1971, both stations were bulldozed to make way for I-55, which replaced the famous Highway 66. It can be seen in the background of this image. View looks southeasterly.

The homestead was still there in 1970, but was gone by 1975. Around the same time, 45 of the 60 grain bins were removed from the site. In 2013 or 2014, the remaining bins were removed. All that remains is a lone utility pole, attached to nothing.
