Nice view of the Opossum Creek Inn tavern. And how about that, we can clearly see a new beer delivery in progress! Lots of thirsty Bohemians and Moravians in this area.

Update - this homestead is now gone. Sadly it had been sold to a developer and demolished in the last two years.

This is the Martinka homestead. The old building to the left of the white house is the original home built in the 1800s. The larger white house in front was the new home built in the 1920s. We used to visit my great uncle there regularly up until the mid 2000s. Sadly, a developer got ahold of the place and there's now nothing physically left of the homestead, but we do have great memories.
