June Baxter homestead. His entire family, totaling 11, arrived in August 1858 in Morris County. The limestone house was completed in 1871, where June and Elizabeth lived the rest of their lives, Elizabeth passing away in 1890 and June in 1895. The date 1871 is enscribed into the widow sill on the east side of the home. June and Elizabeth where highly respected members of the community.
