This home burned since this photo was taken. It was gutted and remodeled, and now a story and a half. Detached garage is larger today as well. The pond is no longer there.

The old Detmer place on the northern end of Main St. in Farley. Structurally the same but was completely remodeled about 5 years ago.

The old Kisker farm, the other home that was present in photos during an archeological dig in the 1930's. Burial mounds from the Hopewellian Indians were found near the top of this photo. The barn, center left, has been converted into a home.

St. John Lutheran Church in Farley. The parsonage to the left would have been recently built, replacing the old house.

Early years it was a grocery/service station with different owners. Later it became a cafe/gas station owned by Melvin and Betty Hochard, then Troy and Irene McClanahan as Texaco and Irene's Cafe. It has been a private residence for many years. Structure has not changed since this photo was taken.

Old J.R. Baker farm on N. Farley Rd. There is a pond to the right that he allowed us kids to fish in when we were young.

N Farley Rd, about a mile north of Grass Pad Rd. The windmill in the center of the photo is the only thing left from this photo. New house was built this Spring where the old home sat.
