A search shows them still in business, however they switched from Allis Chalmers orange to Kubota orange!

An Allis Chalmers & New Idea dealer at one time. A great variety of stuff in this photo! Most of it looking quite dated even for 1968 (one row corn picker, pull type combine)!

Appears to be an Allis-Chalmers dealer at the time this photo was taken. A few years later Allis Chalmers would become Duetz Allis for a period before AGCO (Allis-Gleaner Company) would be created.

This was my Great Aunt & Uncle's place. They lived here until the late 90's when they moved into Whitewright. This house no longer stands.

Whitewright Municipal Center. Houses(d) Fire Department, EMS, Police, Library & City Hall offices. Not a lot has changed, but the tenants (mostly EMS & Police) have come and gone and come yet again over the years. A nice facility in spite of it's age, especially for a small town.

Farley Grain, downtown Whitewright, Tx. I can remember hauling many a load of grain across those scales! Building was falling apart and needing serious repair in the early 90's. Eventually closed and was demolished in the early 2000's. Now a new manufacturing facility sits on this corner (Royal Case).

I believe Stamm was still around in the mid 1990's, not sure when they left Van Alstyne. Stamm still operates up north (or did a few years back). This location is now a trailer sales/auto repair facility.

Edwards' Chevrolet. Believe about 1990 it became Ken Grantham Chevrolet for a few short years, and later Dale Bonner Chevrolet until about 1992/1993. Closed when GM was squeezing out small town dealers and "moved" Dale Bonner to the former Ronnie Blye Chevrolet in Denison, Tx.
