This house is still standing and appears nearly identical to pictured above, however, all of the trees in the yard have been removed except for the one tree behind the house. There is now a large garden patch to both the north and south of the home. The house is whitewashed brick and appears to be very old, I suspect it may have been a former one-room schoolhouse that was converted. 281 Union Square Rd, Oxford, PA 19363

Home sits at the southeast corner of Union Square Rd. and Forge and was built in 1900. Lot looks nearly identical as pictured above 40 years ago (sans the boat out back). It appears the garage building is used as a rental property. 255 Union Square Rd, Oxford, PA 19363 A bit of trivia: directly kiddie-corner to this property at 250 Union Square Rd. is the former Miller Farm. The location was made infamous on August 30, 1978 after the murder of the young Robin Miller and (attempted murder) of her boyfriend, Bruce Johnston Jr. by members of the Johnston Gang, which was led by Bruce's father. The young couple had just arrived home after a day spent at Hershey Park when they were ambushed in their car. In 1986 the story was made into a Hollywood film, "At Close Range", starring Sean Penn as Bruce Jr., Mary Stuart Masterson as Robin Miller, and Christopher Walken as Bruce Johnston Sr.

Recent street views show this farm has been updated since Carmen's post above. Notably, the addition of two large greenhouses, one to the north of the property and one to the south. Several mature trees remain in the yard, and the new owners have a seasonal farm stand at the road just in front of the telephone poles at the end of the south driveway. The porch has been enclosed since the above photo was taken in 1986. Most notable is the enormous 6,833 square foot flat roof Italianate house built in 1900. In all my years of researching historical farms in the US, I have never seen a farm house this large -- it almost looks like an early country hospital. Would love to hear more about this farm, Carmen!! 2625 Forge Rd, Oxford, PA 19363

House is nearly identical as pictured above 40 years ago, even the paver blocks remain. They have built a detached garage at the end of the driveway since then. 2655 Forge Rd, Oxford, PA 19363

This farm looks nearly identical now as pictured above in 1986, same trailer home, same barn, no new additional buildings on the property. Only difference is the yard now has several mature trees, and a line of pines along the road shielding the mobile home from the street view. 267 W Christine Rd, Nottingham, PA 19362

I couldn't find much out about this farm that appears to have been built in the mid-late 1800s. The house is now completely concealed by large trees. There appears to have been a second residence to the southeast, just out of frame. 7428 Clifton Lane, Smithfield VA 23430

This house once sat on the north side of 7 mile directly across from the Michigan State Police Laboratory (which is still there). The house's driveway is just east of where Harbor Village Dr. is now and the land where the house sat now contains a water feature for the Harbor Village Apartment complex. Approximately 42450 7 Mile, Northville, MI 48167

This house once sat on the north side of 7 Mile right where Corlina Dr/Corlina Townhouse complex is now. Looks to have been torn down not long after this photo before the 1990s in preparation for building the Harbor Village Apartments (just to the east). Approximately: 42477 Corlina Dr, Northville, MI 48167
