Not in Sandstone. It is in Markville. My great-aunt lived directly across the street from the church. Sandstone is west of Markville. Google has incorrect information. Sandstone & Markville are two completely different towns.

Fred Schmidt farm outside of Duxbury, Minn. Archie Schmidt, his son, lived in the home after Fred and his wife Nellie passed away. Original site of a log house; the home pictured was built around the logs.

Duxbury Store in Duxbury, Minnesota. Owned by Archie Schmidt and then his daughter & son-in-law, Bev and Joe Vink. It is still standing but abandoned.
