This photo is facing due East. The Mt Morris Elementary School was eventually built across from the church in the top rightish corner (the school burned in the 21st century): we used to walk across the street to attend Weekly Religious Education at the church and attended Girl Scouts in the church basement. “Nine Curves” aka Lowell Park Road can be seen in the foreground.
