38212 Apple Ave, Joice, IA 50446. My Grandfather purchased this farmstead in 1976. In 1980, my Dad bought it from him and owned it up until 2020. Today, we still own the 71 acres of cropland surrounding it. I was born and raised here. The house has had 2 major additions since this photo was taken only 2 of the original farm structures (besides the house) remain. This had to be one of the greatest environments for a young boy to grow up in - a large yard full of huge bur oak trees, many dilapidated buildings to explore, a "crick" that cut through the NW corner of our property, and all the peace and quiet one could ever want.
