I grew up in this house. The old white building in the back is still standing. The people living there now have the place looking very nice.

Franklinton Baptist Church and Parsonage. Both are still standing, and there is now a community center across the road from the church.

My grandparents lived here for many years. The vehicle on the right is my grandpa's red pickup with a topper on it. I think it was a Chevrolet Custom Deluxe. The small building near the truck was the wash house. My grandma had one of those old washing machines with the wringers on it to get the water out of the clothes.

I actually do remember it because we had a painting done based on the picture and I still have that painting. We lived there until about 1986. The large tree is no longer there and some of the other trees are either gone now or much larger. The garage and building are still there but I am sure the pool is long gone. Besides that and some cosmetic changes it really hasn't changed that much. I grew up there so it has special meaning to me.
