This is the pond across from Stout's Run, just outside of Smithfield. The old Cain Cemetery (sometimes referred to as "Graveyard Cut") is next to it. My grandfather died while fishing there in 1985.

This is the old Maize's store in 'downtown' Smithfield. It was a great general store throughout its lifespan.

This is what was Tom and Walt's beer garden. My grandparents ran the Dew Drop Inn here in sometime between 1938-1945 and lived upstairs.
