This was the childhood home of Shelly Mather's Myer's, Urban Myer's wife. At the time of the Picture the home was owned by Reed Herman Cory and his wife Betty Mallow Cory. At the time of this Picture Shelly's mother would have been a freshman in Frankfort High School, which would have been around 1963

Yes you are correct this is the Bon Day fruit farm. One of the children that grew up there was Doug Davis he was the same age as me and we were in the same high school class when I was married on July 3rd to my wife Paula in 1969 Doug was my best man at the wedding. He had two brothers Bruce and Daniel and a sister Diane Diane has since passed away and I'm not sure about the other two brothers. I believe Bruce is still there at the home place. The farm is in disarray now it has grown up around the house I have stopped there a couple of times but was unable to have anybody come to the door in the past two or three years the family situation was a sad situation as the father had left the family when Doug was in his junior or senior year of high school which would have been around 19 62 . If anybody wishes to talk to me further about the farm or our relationship to the davises you can message me through Messenger or email me through my email address
