I think a sign by the road said Country Acres. My family lived here in 1963-64, renting the farmhouse. The line of pine trees at the edge of the property was once longer. A tornado went over while we lived there and took some of them down. Would love to know the address. It was just north of Fort Jesse Road... but not sure what road it was on.

Sam and Sharon James owned his place in the 1970s and 80s. The house burned and they rebuilt further east on the property.

This is where I grew up. My parents owned this place from 1964-200? The big prairie barn seen on the right was hit by lightning and burned to the ground within 20 minutes in the late 1970s.

This was originally the Golden Arrow school. My father and his brother (and sisters?) attended this school through 8th grade during the 1940s and into early 1950s.
