This is a historic farm setup located on Fairview Farm Rd. While the original house in the foreground is located at 2408 Fairview Farm Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205, the barn and fields to the south (left side) are on separate parcels. This area also includes a newer home built in 2004 at 2470 Fairview Farm Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205. The barn remains in its original location but has undergone renovations since this photo was taken.

Another view showing both the house located at 2950 NC 42, Asheboro, NC 27205 on the left side and the property that is currently Strickland's 42 Mower Sales & Service located at 2946 NC 42, Asheboro, NC 27205 on the right side which of course looks very different at this time than it does today as as the building now has a A-Frame roof and is painted a dark gray or black color. Also, the pumps in the front are of course gone now and in 2022 a metal garage building was added right along the right side of the building according to tax records. The mobile home and building in the back remain standing.

This property is currently a lawn mower business called Strickland's 42 Mower Sales & Service and is located at 2946 NC 42, Asheboro, NC 27205 and according to their website was founded in 2005. The building has had major changes since this photo was taken as it now has a A-Frame roof and is painted a dark gray or black color. Also, the pumps in the front are of course gone now and in 2022 a metal garage building was added right along the right side of the building according to tax records. The mobile home and building in the background remain standing.

This house is located at 2726 NC 42, Asheboro, NC 27205 and according to tax records was built in 1985 so this photo shows when it was newly built! Although, when referencing 1991 historical imagery on the GIS, the mobile home on the property shown here is already gone so it was most likely removed not long after the house was built.
