3655 W. 550 S. Lebanon, IN 46052. Home was built by Preacher Raymond Duff in 1975 who lived there until 2014 when he sold it to Warren & Suzie Baker. We purchased it from Suzie Baker in July 2023.

This house & barn are no longer here but was located just south of Milledgeville on the west side of SR 39 south of Lebanon IN. My late father-in-law Sam Miller lived here as a child in late 1930's when it was part of his grandparents (Rodger's) farm. My brother & his wife, Tim & Betsy Ranney lived here when they first married in 1975 when it was part of the Dan Smith farm and still is today. I actually helped clean-up the barn debris when it was torn down in about 1979 while working for Dan Smith as a teenager.

Dad raised everything I can think of. He still puts out a few tomato plants @ 92 years old. The barn lost its roof in '76 and was replaced with a large garage right behind the house. The house was replaced in '85. The only building that remains is the milkhouse out back. The property is surrounded by large pine trees now.

Sorry for the slow response. I haven't been back to this site in a while. I have a couple old photos from the 20s I believe. It was my understanding that the farm was in a trust being held for my grandfather and his siblings because their mother died at an early age prior to her parents (The VanNuys). This was during the Great Depression and I believe the trust ran out of money prior to all of the siblings reaching adulthood. So it was sold.
