This house was built by my Father and Mother Johnny E. Smith and Reathel Smith. My father was a pastor and also worked in construction. He began building this house around 1977 and completed it in 1981. I was 12 years old. We moved in it and three months later, my dad discovered that he had cancer. He passed away in June 1982. Our grandparents lived next door. Our family lived in this house until 1987, when we moved to Chattanooga, TN. My aunt and uncle purchased the home and still live in it.
