I grew up in this house, spending every summer here starting at the age of ten. It was owned by my grandmother and many wonderful, peaceful nights were spent on that front porch in the swing talking amongst family, enjoying the summer breezes, watching the folks in the community as the went in and out of the store across the street (that my first cousin owned). So many wonderful memories.

That house has been completely redone at a cost of $500,000 or more, and it now looks as it did when it was first built in the 1800s. This is a precious place to me.
