This is my grandparents farm at Taylorville which was a small village on the outskirts of Tuscaloosa AL. My grandfather had been passed away for one year when this photo was made. The meticulous garden areas were kept up by my grandmother who plowed them with her horse. She continued farming until 1987 and passed away in 1988. I grew up on their place which was 30 acres.
