Pollardville Ghost Town. A wonderful little roadside attraction that stood from 1957 until it was closed and razed between 2008 and 2010. A chicken kitchen (which is how it all originated), the Palace Showboat theater and the ghost town stood here. The Chicken Kitchen (65 cents!) pictured here burned down and was replaced in the '80s. Again: NOT STANISLAUS COUNTY.
