Asher Farm
Eugene and Alberta Asher Farm. The shed, corn crib, cows and garden are gone. The pond was dug in 1966. The combine lean-to was not yet built.
Photo is of the Eugene & Alberta Asher farm ca. May 1967. We still were milking cows for Grade B milk. Two kids are watching the airplane from the road near the house. I was one of them and I still remember the day. Dad is near the milk cooler house near the barn. Half of the garden was planted in potatoes. Our farm planter is near the garden. We didn't yet have our only self-propelled Case 600 combine. Very important photo for our family history.
