This is the booming metropolis of Irene. The 2 story building in the center of the picture, the general store, was destroyed by a fire. The coal & feed store next to the tracks is still there, with an additional garage built between it & the home next door. Other than that, the buildings haven't changed much.

Correction: the additional garage is pictured next to the coal & feed store, the driveway looks wider in the picture than it does now because there's a privacy fence covering part of the driveway now. The ranch next to the tracks on the near side of Irene Rd no longer has the building in the front yard... I believe it had something to do with the grain elevator.
