The brick building in the foreground is the old jailhouse on the southeast corner of the square in Louisille, IL. In the mid 1940s my grandfather was Clay County Sheriff and he, my grandma and my mom (who was 3 or 4 at the time) lived there for a couple years. The structure is now a county museum & listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
