Ingraham State Bank, 2567 Ingraham Lane, unincorporated Ingraham, Illinois. View looks north. Old Ingraham Road is the north-south cross street. Note the Phillips 66 station in the northwest corner of the intersection. The Ingraham Post Office is the small, one-story building, seen in the lower right corner.
The Phillips 66 was Delbert Nix’s Feed & Grocery store. Bought many a Choc-Ola and 3 Musketeers candy bars from there. The one story building in the lower right corner is NOT the Post Office, it is the Ingraham restaurant. The building in the lower left hand corner is the old Ingraham State Bank. The new Ingraham State Bank is kitty-corner from it on land that used to be occupied by my Uncle’s house.
