Spent many pleasurable hours helping my father-in-law,Ed on this farm. For many years he was a dairy farmer and the hours were not "9 to 5". Usually his last visit to the dairy barn to check on the cows was about 11:00 p.m. He enjoyed working on the farm so much that he would delay some of the work just to have something to do in the winter. He very much enjoyed riding around through the county looking at the progress other farmers were making. He was a true example of "a good neighbor" always helping other neighbors that needed a favor or help. Having lived through the "great depression" he was hesitant in using financial institutions.
