There's a chance...just a chance...that the white frame building in the center of this photo is the old Schneider School, which was located about half a mile west, on the north side of Hugo Road. The school was still in operation for the 1942-43 school year. Local newspapers give little mention to this one room schoolhouse, so it's hard to determine when it closed and who bought the building. But is sure does look like an old school.
