Sycamore

The old Sycamore High School is the large building in this image. It was on the north-east corner of Governor St & State St IL Rt 64) in Sycamore IL. You can see the track / football field to the east of the school in the right center of the image. It was an early 20th Century High School and later became a Jr High when the new high school was built on the south-west side of town. Sometime in the most recent decades, the old school was demolished to make way for a new Browns Grocery Store which has now closed.

This building was used in the filming of "Will, the G. Gordon Liddy Story" and I was an extra in that movie. The Courthouse was also used.
