West Lincoln Hwy, Hinckley, IL
Freundt International Harvester / Buick dealership, The painted logo on the roof is a ‘30s vintage Air Mail Service Federal visual airway marker shoeing the name of the town as well as direction and distance to the next similar marker which was just north-east of Big Rock, IL
There is also a very good view of the original Hinckley municipal school dating from the ~ 1890s. The Church-like building in front of it was just that, a church converted to a gymnasium. It was saved from the wrecking ball and converted to a residence by the Editor of the local newspaper. It remains and is still a very unique residence.
