I grew up on the farm next to this place. Wilmer Baker, a Carson family, and Percy Peterson lived there later. When Percy got the landlord to spring for a concrete feed lot around the big barn, before bringing in the next cycle of cattle, he threw a dance for the township! There was a one-man-band with a guitar, a harmonica and a snare drum/cymbal set that was foot operated. Olle Larson and his family were next, and he lived there until the house was torn down. Four years after my father died, Olle married my Mom and became my step father. Olle lost his wife to cancer a few years before my dad passed away. Anyaway, there is only one building left, a concrete block machine shed just visible through the trees to the right of the house. I mow the grass over there out of respect to Olle. He was married to my mom longer than my first dad.
