This is the house that found itself in the way of other people's plans. In the 1980s, the house was directly in the path of I-355. Aerial images suggest the house was moved a few hundred yards to the west, out of the interstate's path. The house remained there until at least 2005. By 2007, it had been removed for new home construction.
