On Aurora road, now the site of Discount Tire

This was farmed by Gus and Doris Kresl for a number of years and later by Joe Brummel, Jr. This farm was part of the larger parcel that the Burlington Railroad purchased in 1960. The total parcel was a majority of the land bordered by the railroad tracks to the north, Rt 34 to the east, Aurora avenue to the south and Rt 59 to the west. There were several smaller parcels within that area that were not available to the Burlington.
