WMAQ AM 670 Transmitting Station. South side of Army Trail Rd, between Bloomingdale and Glen Ellyn Rd. The building and 750 ft tower was built in 1935 and is still there.

1978 I was doing a project for a class I had at Glenbard North HS. I had the opportunity to interview one of the engineers in that building and see the 50,000 watt transmitters and equipment inside. Most of them trees were gone, and the homes and retail there now had not yet been built.
