My home was about 4 miles north and west of Wright's Corner. I was at this store many times with my Mother. I left home in 1962, and this brings back so many wonderful memories for me. Thank you!!!
What has changed? Everything. I took a picture 3 or 4 years ago, and all that is there is a sign saying "Wright's Corner". This is near where my grandparents lived and close to Springhill Church and Cemetery where many of my relatives went to Church and where many of them are buried--practically all of my Mother's side are buried there. Was there many times.
My great great grandparents lived here. They had the store and gas station. I remember the gas pumps there and was sad when they were gone. I was past there about a month ago and only a sign
To lnow there had ever been a village there.
My grandparents, Tom and Caddie Rogers, also owned this store.
worked with Exxon tll 1992, spent some joyous times there.
