Gibson City, Illinois...looking northwest. That’s Illinois State Routes 9 and 47, 1st Street, running east-west across the bottom of the picture. The intersection is with Sangamon Avenue. At this point Ill. 47 turns south here. Highlights in the picture, east to west along 1st, are the John Deere dealership, the CHEKER and Kerr-McGee gas stations, and the Dairy Queen.
