This is the intersection of Main Street (IL Hwy 149) and Logan Street (IL Hwy 37) in West Frankfort IL. Karnes Real Estate sat on the southwest side of the intersection; with Wareco Gas Station on the Northwest Side. Wareco was one of the first self-service gas stations in West Frankfort. All of the other service stations were just that...full service stations.
