This was the home of Ernest and Beulah Jacobus Churchill that was moved from their farm a few miles east when the coal mine bought the land and stripped it to remove the coal. The home sat in the NW corner of a 28-acre field along the Cuba-Canton blacktop (now county road 5) It was later moved from this location to an acreage in the Smithfield, IL area.
