This was the farmstead of Jesse & Wilma Range, where they raised Loyal, Vern, Wilfred, Guylia and Charlot Range. Darold Range lives in the house, currently, with his wife, Sherry. The small white building to the right of the home was a smokehouse. As a grandson to Jesse & Wilma, we would jump off the porch and try to make it through the shrubbery, out front, without falling on our heads. The big area to the right of the smokehouse was the garden. Chickens were behind the house, and to the north of the big barn was the original log cabin, that ancestors started out in. We squirrel hunted in the timbered ditches surrounding the North and West sides of the barn lot.
