This is our family farm south of Sheldon, IL. It has been in the family since 1868, and successive generations have lived there, being handed down from Nagele to Keller to Noel to the Noel descendants:Thibaut, Brassard and Datzman. The small trees at the end of the drive are now much taller, the fences have been removed, the crib torn down, the old railroad and box car with lean-to have been torn down, and many of the trees, including the orchard are gone. The sidewalk to the east porch is also gone. Most of the area used for pasture are now farmed as we have not had livestock for many years. I was about 7 when this photo was taken.
