This grain elevator is located at a site along the railroad called Hooper...not to be confused with North Hooper, one mile to the north, which at one time had its own tiny, wooden grain elevator. Today this site is the northernmost stop on this line of the Kankakee, Beaverville & Southern railroad, which runs south to Danville.
