This farmstead was demolished around 2005. View looks NNE. Note the barn advertisement for MERAMEC CAVERNS US 66 STANTON MO. This message was facing northbound drivers on IL Route 3 and beckoned them to visit the attraction if their travels took them further west into Missouri.
