Can't remember his name, but the fella that owned the original Chinchbug Tavern lived in the older house. The newer one wasn't there when my brother and I were last in Jones Ridge. We visited our grandparents, Park & Emma Jarrett, who lived in the farmhouse across the railroad tracks from this location. Sometimes we'd still be awake when the tavern closed, and we'd watch him make the slow drive home from our second story bedroom.
