Lived here from about 1972 to 1977. The house was in pretty bad shape and my Mom renovated. The barn was so fun for us kids to play in.

When I was young the Geithman's, excuse the possibly inaccurate spelling, lived here. I remember the Mrs. telling my Mom that they did not go to many funerals, so they called them "fun....er als."

Ben Ellithorpe came to our house very very upset one day because he said she climbed his silo and placed a pumpkin atop the silo.

I bought the remaining 10 acre parcel around 1995 at a sheriff's sale. Rumor had it the former owner was a drug dealer who would have marijuana bales air dropped into adjoining field in upper left part of photo. Anyway, farm was foreclosed. We split into two 5 acre parcels and built a place in the upper half of the photo...sold the barn, house and remaining 5 acres off. The barn and house are still around, barn has a new metal roof and about a dozen horses are boarded there.

Pronounced “ Getman” ?? Juns farmed the 40 acres to the west for years . Mr Geithman stopped by to visit us back in the 70’s.
