Large road moving across lower left of frame is Randall Road in St. Charles, IL. Large building is a former lumberyard - the two open sided sheds were for storage. Closed in about 2010, and the site is currently used for school bus parking. Railroad line behind the site was the Chicago Great Western main line to Iowa, by then run by Chicago and North Western, and had a siding for the lumberyard. Line has since been abandoned but the bridge over the Fox River is still extant. Road running across top of frame left to right is Dean Street, large building top of frame is a foundry. A large business park stands there now. Small dark colored building on the far side of Dean Street is still standing, as are several other buildings of similar construction - this is a business park for various contractors and businesses.

Addendum to my previous comment - the "small dark colored building on the far side of Dean Street" is part of the West Dean Center business park. There are seven very similar buildings on the site now. The one in the photo is obviously the first one, and this must have been taken while the center was under construction. Owned at one point by Driessen Construction, am unsure if they were the original builders.
